Notes from Part 1

This clip began shortly after I ascended. My ascension choices were:

     Class: Sauceror
     Hardcore: No
     Path: Teetotaler
     Sign: Mongoose
All that was cut from the beginning was the section where I donated for 3 Mr. Accessories.

Since it was a clover day, I decided I would make a Rock and Roll Legend rather than pulling one from storage. This paid off since I ended up getting four trinkets in four sewer trips!

I was never expecting to get a black snowcone. Had I not gotten either that or a green snowcone, I would have pulled a lead necklace from storage.

I had considered pulling wax lips, but decided against it. Later on in the run, when it appeared that my stats might be too low to finish the run, I was really regretting that decision.

It was my own quirky strategy decision to go into the Harem that early and with all the item drop gear. Since I knew I wasn’t going to have 35 myst when I started the run, I decided it would be best to start off in an area where I could put the Mr. A Jrs. to work.

After I finished the Harem, I still didn’t have enough myst to equip the hockey sticks yet, so I went to Guano Junction before the Tavern to take advantage of the Mr. A Jrs. again. It paid off well since I got the baseball, broken skull, and loose teeth all very quickly.

Those crazy familiar names: During my HCO run, the names of my familiars (the sombrero excluded) wrote out two e.e. cummings poems. After I ascended it got all jumbled out of order.

Blunders:

There was no need for me to make meat paste. The plunger was available in Degrassi Knoll to do all of that for me.

I forgot to buy and use hairspray, so I was taking more damage than necessary. I also forgot to cast Springy Fusilli immediately and got jumped at least once because of it.

Coming up in Part 2:

The Bat Hole, Tavern, Goblin King, Friars, and the beginning of the Cyrpt. There’s a bit missing between clips 1 and 2, but it’s only a bunch of buffs being cast.
